It is time for a change in Chaffee County. As a mother of three and a small business owner, I bring a different perspective to the Chaffee County Commissioners race. I am running as unaffiliated and do not have years of experience in local office. These are not weaknesses, but strengths. I am beholden to no special interest group or political party. I will use the skills developed managing my family and my business. I will listen, fact-find, analyze, develop a practical consensus, and implement a plan. We need to preserve the beauty and traditions of Chaffee County, and the rural lifestyle we all enjoy. But progress is inevitable, even if it is not always welcome. If we do not proactively manage this change, it will manage us instead.
